Tata Steel Company Limited set up the 1.73 million tonnes per annum split located cement plant at Sonadih, Raipur district, Madhya Pradesh and Jojobera near Jamshedpur. TCE designed the housing colony which comprised of:

3. Guest house for senior management and hostel for engineers' and workers'
4. School
5. Medical centre
6. Community centre with recreational facilities
7. Shopping complex
8. Utility services and buildings
9. Landscaping and recycling effluent for gardent

TCE Scope of Services

1. Concept design and master plan
2. Detailed design of architectural civil, mechanical and electrical works
3. Procurement
4. Construction supervision of all plant and non-plant structures including administration buildings and housing colony
