TCE has been deeply involved in engineering
and consulting on a large number of infrastructure development
projects across India and overseas. The company has
been very active in projects relating to water supply,
sewage and wastewater treatment, building of roads and
bridges, airports, seaports and harbours.
Water
supply
TCE has engineered several water
treatment plants for major cities in India with capacities
from 12 million litres per day to 1900 Mld. The company
has provided services for water supply and sewage projects
to municipal corporations of seven metropolises and
14 big cities in India, including Ahmedabad, Mumbai,
Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad; some of these
have been funded by the World Bank and the Japan Bank
for International Cooperation.
TCE is currently executing similar
assignments for the state governments of Rajasthan and
Madhya Pradesh and the Delhi Jal Board. It has also
assisted water authorities and government agencies in
formulating effective water usage policies.

Wastewater
TCE has engineered wastewater treatment plants of capacities
ranging from, 60,000 litres/day to 285 million litres/day
in Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore.
The company has provided engineering
consultancy for aerated lagoons, activated sludge processes,
tertiary treatment plants, sewage pumping stations,
RCC ducts, sewer lines, marine outfalls and conveyance
tunnels, storm water drainage for big cities and plot
drainage for industrial units. TCE has provided integrated
solutions for wastewater projects across all major cities
in India.

Leak
detection
As a pioneer in leak detection for intermittent supply
schemes, TCE has made significant contribution to water
conservation and leak control programmes in major cities
of India and Nepal. TCE also undertakes water audit
and energy audit studies.
TCE provides the following
services: leak detection surveys, repairing of leaks,
inspecting and replacing defective revenue meters, rehabilitating
the water distribution network to improve the standard
of water supply and devising strategies for reduction
of water loss.

Irrigation
TCE provides detailed engineering, design, project management
and procurement consultancy services for irrigation
projects. At present, TCE is involved in the Mulwad
West Canal (0 to 54 Km) and Almatti Right Bank Canal
(28 to 67 Km) projects of the Upper Krishna project
in India. TCE is also engineering the Chimmalagi Lift
Irrigation Scheme of the Upper Krishna project.

Rainwater
harvesting
As a part of TCE's overall
competencies in water supply and distribution, the company
has also built up expertise in rainwater harvesting
projects. At Maruti Udyog, the company was involved
in an intensive study of rainfall patterns and intensity,
the cost and effort implications, and the actual design
of rainwater harvesting measures. In Bangalore, the
company was involved in a study of the feasibility of
storing rainwater run-off.

Roads
and bridges
TCE has experience working on highways, roads and bridges
with the local state authorities. TCE has recently completed
a techno-economic feasibility study for the Western
Freeway in Mumbai. Maharashtra State Road Development
Corporation (MSRDC) has awarded the company the work
of constructing three flyovers in Mumbai. TCE has completed
a strategic study for institutional development of the
Public Works Department of Utter Pradesh as a World
Bank aided project.
The company has successfully completed highways and
roads in Laos as a part of the hydroelectric power project,
and rehabilitation of about 570 km of roads and replacement
and widening of bridges for the Ministry of Highways,
Sri Lanka.

and Rural Development
TCE has provided engineering consultancy services
for various Urban and Rural Infrastructure projects
in India and Overseas (developing countries). Housing
and Township, Roads, Water supply, Wastewater and Sewerage

Airports
TCE has been involved in the study and preparation
of the project report for the new Bangalore airport.
The company is also involved as Owner's Engineer in
the expansion of the New Delhi airport. TCE is providing
design and construction services for the proposed international
airport at Hyderabad.

and harbours
TCE has engineered marine
terminals, slipways and ship fitting out berths and goods
handling and storing facilities. The company was involved
in the container terminal project of Gujarat Pipavav Port
as Lender's Engineer to assess the design, viability and
feasibility of the project. The company was also involved
in the detailed design and engineering of the construction
of a new berth at Pir Pau; this Mumbai Port Trust project
was funded by the Asian Development Bank.
