Donation of PCs (March 2009)
Two Maharashtra State village schools were donated PCs by TCE Matulya office. The schools have around 250 students each.



Clean Zamrudpur (February 2009)
TCE Delhi office, located in Zamrudpur Commercial Complex, participated in the ‘Clean Zamrudpur activity’, which was organized by Link India.

Christmas celebrations (December 2008)
The House of Charity in Mumbai which looks after the physically and mentally challenged children, had visitors from TCE Vikhroli office on Christmas. Daily use items and essential goods were gifted to the House. The children of the House expressed their gratitude by singing carols, thus celebrating Christmas.



World White Cane Day (October 2008)
The World White Cane Day was observed by TCE Pune office, by arranging an exhibition of items made by the visually challenged students of Poona School & Home for the Blind Girls – Training Centre at Kothrud, Pune. Items like floating candles, gel candles, patra diyas, bed sheets, napkins, etc. were purchased in large numbers.


Donation of PCs (March 2008)
PCs were donated by TCE Vikhroli office to charitable institutes – Bhatke-Vimukta Vikas Prathisthan, Arvind Smruti, Kamalini Karnabadhir Vidyalaya and Rajmata Jijabai Trust.

Safe and defensive driving (March 2008)
To enhance the awareness about safe and defensive driving, a 45 min presentation was conducted by TCE Vikhroli office on “Defensive Driving” for about 25 drivers from various companies. The ill effects and futility of honking as well as the statutory issues of vehicular sound pollution were also brought out.


Donation of PCs (February 2008)
PCs were donated by TCE Matulya office to the Navjivan High School, Ratnagiri and Vidyamandir Kumbharkhani Budruk School, Ratnagiri.





Exhibition-cum-sale of gift articles (January 2008)
The orthopaedically challenged inmates of Paraplegic Foundation had put up an Exhibition-cum-sale at Matulya Centre and Vikhroli office in Mumbai. TCE responded whole-heartedly by buying most of the artwork gift articles and souvenirs.


Christmas celebrations (December 2007)
For the underprivileged children of Our Lady’s Home, TCE ushered Christmas by offering donations in the form of clothes, books, toys and cash. This gesture brought a smile on the faces of the children. TCE also sponsored a child’s education.



Foundation for school (December 2007)
At the Tata Motors & Fiat JV plant site at Ranjangaon near Pune, TCE started a school for the children of the labourers. Books and school stationary were given to the eager children. Though at present, the number of children attending the school is small, it is expected that this number will grow in the future.

Blood donation camp (March 2007)
A blood donation camp was organised at Vikhroli office by Nair Hospital of Mumbai.

Performance by visually challenged artistes (February2007)
Visually challenged artistes from The National Association of Blind performed a musical event at the TCE Day celebrations. TCE made good use of the event to organise a stall for sale of gift articles made by the visually challenged artistes.


Exhibition-cum-sale of gift articles (January 2007)
The mentally challenged students of Dilkhush Special School had put up an Exhibition-cum-sale at Matulya Centre in Mumbai. TCE responded whole-heartedly by buying most of the artwork gift articles and souvenirs.






Christmas celebrations (December 2006)
TCE visited Bal Mandir in Panvel for Christmas. Playing Santa, the kids were entertained with goodies.






Social Excellence Award (March 2006)
TCE was awarded the Social Excellence Award for Corporate Social Responsibility by Shristi Special Academy of Bangalore. Shristi is dedicated to improving the life of mentally/physically challenged children.


Ulsoor Lake Restoration (2004)
For the Ulsoor lake restoration in Bangalore, TCE designed the silt traps and gates. These traps and gates control the entry of the floating material.

Renovation of Bal Bhavan
TCE contributed towards the up-gradation and enhancement of Bal Bhavan’s facilities at Bangalore in its role as project manager. The work involved construction of a pavilion & clock tower, canteen blocks, toilet blocks, soft and hard landscaping etc.


Bharatiya Grameena Mahila Sangha
TCE volunteered for the civil design works of the new premises of Bharatiya Grameena Mahila Sangha located at Bangalore.

Tsunami Relief and Rehabilitation Project
TCE gave free services for the Tsunami Relief and Rehabilitation Project in Tamil Nadu


Heritage conservation
Horniman Circle
TCE gave free consultancy services to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation when it decided to renovate this heritage site. TCE continues to give free consultancy for maintenance of the garden.


Sewree Fort

TCE's heritage conservation got a new focus when it got the go-ahead from the Government of Maharashtra to prepare an action plan for conservation and maintenance of the Sewree fort.

The Sewree fort, along with other forts in the island city of Mumbai i.e. Bandra, Mahim, Worli, Sion and Reva, has been around for more than 600 years. This fort was chosen because it includes a number of aspects such as heritage conservation, mangrove walks, migratory flamingos every year, a jetty and the sea front.

The Sewree project will begin by clearing up the approach to the fort. A 1,650 sq m food centre will be set up to serve west coast cuisine. Mumbai Port Trust will provide land to create a mangrove park that will cover four hectares of backwaters and two hectares onshore.TCE will execute the project with support from Mumbai Port Trust, Archaeology Survey of India, BEST and the Bombay Natural History Society.
